Best known for HITCH ("...a sweet turn by Julie Ann Emery as Eva Mendes' best friend"... USA Today), Julie Ann Emery made her big screen debut in the hit romantic comedy alongside Will Smith.

On the small screen, she starred as Special Agent Jennifer Sampson in Rod Lurie's critically acclaimed series LINE OF FIRE ("an agent so fiery and confident.....she's reminiscent of Jodie Foster in THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS"...NY Daily News). Emery also worked with Lurie as Secret Service Agent Joan Greer on COMMANDER IN CHIEF along side Golden Globe winner Geena Davis and Emmy winner Donald Sutherland. And appeared as Amelia Keyes in Stephen Spielberg's Sci Fi mini- series TAKEN. She made her television debut in a recurring role on NBC's long running ER. Other TV appearences include: ALIAS, CSI MIAMI, BONES, THE GHOST WHISPERER, THE DREW CAREY SHOW, FIRST MONDAY, and the CBS holiday presentation SNOW WONDER with Mary Tyler Moore, Poppy Montgomery, and Cameron Manheim.

Originally from Crossville, TN, Julie Ann attended Webster Conservatory for Theatre and has been seen on stages across the country including New York and Chicago.

Most recently, you may have seen Ms. Emery in the Hallmark Hall of Fame Movie PICTURES OF HOLLIS WOODS alongside Oscar Winner Sissy Spacek and Emmy Winner Alfre Woodard; or recurring in ABC's OCTOBER ROAD and FX's THE RICHES (with Minnie Driver and Eddie Izzard). In 2008, look for Julie Ann on the big screen in RAINBOW TRIBE (opposite David James Elliott) and Rod Lurie's NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH; and on the small screen in the Emmy nominated drama DEXTER on Showtime.

She currently resides in New York with Broadway actor Kevin Earley and her dog Baxter.
